My dear friend, do not forget to be strengthened by grace! Do not try to manage on your own strength, but rely on the grace of Father God every day of your life. This is one of the most important things in a Christian’s life. It may sound obvious or even a bit simplistic, but it is the deepest truth. And it works. So do not forget to come to God to be strengthened by grace, for there is not a single person who does not need it. Begin each day by surrendering to Jesus, leaning on forgiveness, and asking for grace for that day.

For the world may explode and your own life may fall into pieces, but Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Everything else will pass away, but Christ will stand at the last upon the earth. So let us remain in Him. Nowhere else can we find security except in Jesus. And He gives it—always, from here into eternity.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not let all kinds of strange teachings lead you astray. Our hearts must be strengthened by grace, not by foods that have not benefited anyone. (Heb. 13:8–9)

So let us not allow various strange teachings to mislead us. All kinds of things are offered to us as fashionable trends or new wisdom. But let us remain in Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life, as He Himself tells us (John 14:6).

Be strengthened by grace

In order for us to remain in Jesus and endure in everyday life, we must be strengthened by grace. Alone we can’t or don’t know how, or do not dare—but with Jesus we succeed. With Jesus, all things are possible. God offers us the same power with which Christ was raised from the dead (Eph. 1:19–20), that is, His own gracious power. It enables us not only to endure, but to flourish.

The presence of Jesus in our lives changes everything. When our hearts are strengthened by grace, we are able to smile through tears—not by gritting our teeth, but as those blessed and strengthened by grace. This heavenly joy cannot be taken from us, but we must continually be strengthened by grace. And there is enough of it for everyone who asks. So just join the line! The celebration of grace has already begun—and it continues from here into heaven.

Dear Jesus,
How wonderful You are,
and how wonderful is Your grace.
Thank You for giving it to everyone who asks.
Strengthen us by Your grace, Lord.
Without You we cannot endure, manage, or succeed.
But with You nothing is impossible.
Thanks and praise to You forever.
Lead us from here into eternity!
