Let me tell you, my life got better when I learned to turn to God for anything and everything. As long as I tried to manage my life with my strength, I struggled because my strength was already used up early in the morning. Life is never easy, but with Jesus, my yoke is easy. The answer is Jesus. When I learned to lean on him and be strengthened by grace, I found joy like no other.

It is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace. (Hebrews 13:9, NIV)

Be strengthened by grace

Even the Bible tells us it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace. And when you think about it, faith is all about trusting God, surrendering to him, and being empowered by grace. For me, I need to do this daily. It is not a once-in-a-lifetime event. Rather, it is a daily event. And when I do this, I walk in the joy of the Holy Spirit no matter what’s going on outwardly. That’s why I stick to Jesus. Without him, I am nothing, but with him, I can deal with anything life throws at me.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. (1 Peter 1:3-4, NIV)

We have a living hope in a living God. Nothing or no one can take away our faith and hope. Our inheritance in heaven can never perish, spoil, or fade. It is a sure thing. How awesome is that? Nothing compares to the joy of salvation, the presence of God, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are so blessed through Jesus. Let’s not forget this, but surrender to Jesus daily and be strengthened by grace. Then we are unstoppable.
