Do you yearn for love? Just know that you are already deeply loved by God. Actually, he is crazy in love with you. You might know all this in your head but it is time to experience God’s love in your heart. Because only when you’re filled to the brim with God’s amazing love, you are free of forcing love to happen or settling for something that is not real love.

Okay, you say. How do we experience God’s love? What do I need to know in order to do that? Glad you asked. The answer is no previous experience required. You’re not doomed if you have not experienced parental love. Because experiencing God’s love is not based on our abilities or experiences. It’s solely the work of the Holy Spirit.

For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:5, NLT,*)

Experience God’s love

We know God’s love because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. So if you want to experience God’s love, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with God’s love. And then rejoice and revel in it. It’s God’s gift for you.

Learn to regularly bask in God’s love. When you experience God’s love, you are ready to face anything. When you’re confident about your lovability, you dare to live boldly no matter what your relationship status is. You are lovely and loved just as you are.

Gracious God,
Thank you for your extravagant love.
Let the Holy Spirit fill our hearts with it so we could experience what it is to be loved by you.
Help us to live in your love and love others with your love.
