Divine Details

Divine Details

Divine DetailsAs you might know, I started reading through the Bible once again the first of July. I’m following a reading plan to do it in six months. This means that lately I’ve been reading a lot about God’s instructions for the construction of the tabernacle, the priestly vestments, the altar and its appurtenances, the procedure to be used to ordain the priests, and the daily sacrifices to be offered.

You’d think there’s nothing for today’s reader. At least, nothing spiritual, right? Or nothing else but feeling grateful for Jesus’ once-and-for-all sacrifice for our sins, so we don’t have to keep on sacrificing for our sins, right? But, boy, I was pleasantly surprised once again.

The Holy Spirit pointed out to me that just as God’s plans for the Israelites were well-planned down to the last detail, God’s plans for our lives are ready-made and full of divine details as well.

God knows you and your needs intimately. He knows the specifics of your situation and he will know what you need and when you need. And he will deliver. With precise divine details matched to your situation and your souls every need.

Wow. Talk about being blessed.

(We don’t need to read the Bible for knowledge.
We need to read the Bible to be guided and built up by the Holy Spirit.)

God is in control. He’s got your your back. He has a plan for you and he is implementing it as we speak. Keep trusting, keep praising his holy name. All is well. Down to the last divine details.

Holy God,
Thank you for speaking to us in your Word.
Thank you for having our backs.
Thank you for being in control.
Thank you for planning everything
down to the last divine details.
May your will happen in, through, for our lives.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Q4U: What has the Holy Spirit taught you lately? Or tell us about how God has taken care of divine details in your life!

Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim, as you trust God to take care of you down to the last divine details!

  1. Yes, the little things matter, not in a binding, guilt-inducing way, but because every little thing has the potential to point beyond itself to God. Thanks for linking with #SmallWonder, Marie-Anne.
