Do you use your time and money for things that will not satisfy you? Do not keep doing the same old, same old over again expecting different results! Instead, seek something different to get better, more meaningful results. And without selling your soul for unworthy things while God offers you life upon life for free. I’ve never really understood why some people write Jesus off without exploring the possibilities of knowing him. Because Jesus will not disappoint you. I know this is a bold claim but, first of all, the Bible backs me off and, second of all, that is my personal experience.

“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters;
And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat.
Come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God].
“Why do you spend money for that which is not bread,
And your earnings for what does not satisfy?
Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,
And let your soul delight in abundance.

(Isaiah 55:1-2, AMP)

Yes, why do we do things that do not satisfy us? Why do we want to pay a high price for choices that leave us empty? I really don’t know, especially, when Jesus wants to give freely the best there is: light, life, peace, harmony, faith, hope, joy, love… Only life with Jesus satisfies us. The sooner we surrender ourselves to him, the sooner we can start delighting in abundance. Jesus wants to bless you and he does not disappoint you. Seek him while you can.

Seek the Lord while you can find him.
Call on him now while he is near.

(Isaiah 55:6, AMP)

Jesus does not disappoint him

I truly believe anything but Jesus disappoints us. This statement might sound pessimistic but I think it is realistic. Life will disappoint you. The things the world can offer us will never make us happy but Jesus is more than enough. He does not disappoint me, quite the contrary, actually. Jesus blesses my socks off every day. This does not mean life would be easy but it means life is easier with Jesus. It means my soul rejoices even amid hardships.

Life with Jesus is satisfying because it is fulfilling and meaningful. Even suffering will be used for good. Jesus gives my life meaning and purpose. And that’s what satisfies me. This is possible for you too. God is calling everyone who thirsts to come to him and he will give you living water that satisfies you. Forever.

Gracious God,
We are thirsty, hungry, and weary.
Thank you for welcoming us as we are.
We don’t have anything to give you but ourselves.
But we surrender to you fully.
Give us Living Water and some Bread of Life.
Pour out grace upon grace, Lord.
Bless us with your presence,
make us whole again.
Show us how satisfying life with you is.
And then use us to bring others to you.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

P.S.

Just know that your spiritual thirst is not a problem, it is an opportunity to be filled with God. So run to God, don’t hesitate! Better times are ahead with Jesus! Grace is free and there is plenty for all. It is unbelief that is costly and unsatisfying. Jesus will never disappoint you, he knows what you need and will bless you. So keep on seeking him and you will lack nothing! Be blessed, my friend! God is with you!
