13 Reasons to Hope Always
As long as there’s life there’s hope, they say. And sure, that’s true: nothing is over until you take your last breath. What about turning the saying around: as long as there’s hope, there’s life. Because that’s how I see it. As longs as we have hope, we are alive. Even beyond death. As long as we have Jesus, we have Life. And when we have Jesus, we do have hope always. Nothing can take it away from us.
Because hope is such a necessary part of life I have come up with 13 reasons to hope always. I’m sure you wonder why exactly 13 reasons. First of all, I could have gone on and on about reasons for hope, so I had to stop somewhere. Also, it is my way to underline the power of hope. When we have hope in Jesus, number 13 becomes our lucky number. Because life is tough and we frequently need to be reminded to hope always, keep this list close to your heart, so when you need a pick me up, you know where to find reminders to hope always.
13 reasons to hope always
- God is real. This world is not all there is.
- God cares. You are the apple of his eye.
- God loves you. Always and forevermore.
- Hope is not dead. It’s alive and well!
- Resurrection makes all the difference.
- We are saved by grace not by merit. Hallelujah!
- Christ is the source of strength. It’s not about us!
- You are enough. And Jesus is more than enough.
- Christian hope is not wishful thinking.
- God is our ever-present help. We are not alone. Ever.
- God directs your path. Hence: relax. All is well.
- God waits to be gracious to you. So don’t hold back. Just run to him.
- God loves you. Always and forevermore.
- We are set on life – and beyond. So better things ahead!
God lavishes hope on us
As you can see, God lavishes hope on us. So we would never run out of hope. He offers hope upon hope so we could feel his love and care always. God is so generous that he readily lavishes hope on us. So there would not be any doubt left in our minds that we are loved and all will be well. Because God keeps his promises.
Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5, AMP)
Hence dare to hope. Dance in hope. Live in hope. Always.
Gracious God,
Thanks for lavishing us with hope upon hope.
Fill our hearts and minds with your love, hope, and grace.
Let the Holy Spirit minister to us every morning, noon, and night
so that we could live and breath hope.
Thank you for keeping on giving us new reasons to hope always.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
Q4U: What are your reasons to hope always?
Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim, as you receive hope upon hope and dare to live it out!

So many reasons to hope! I like your list and, coincidentally, I had the same idea and shared my 13 reasons to hope for FMF as well!
How fun! Great minds think alike, right? I have to visit your place to see your list. Thanks so much, Lesley! God bless you!
