Jesus Blesses

Jesus Blesses

Jesus BlessesHow are you doing today? Are you feeling blessed and bursting with eternal joy? Or are you feeling under the weather? No matter how you feel you should know Jesus blesses you, loves you, and prays for you. The Bible tells us so.

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. (Romans 8:34, NIV)

Jesus even left to heaven while he was blessing his disciples. What an awesome departing image of Jesus, don’t you think? Jesus was not condemning his disciples, he was blessing them.

Then He led them out as far as Bethany, and lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He left them and was taken up into heaven. And they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy [fully understanding that He lives and that He is the Son of God]; and they were continually in the temple blessing and praising God. (Luke 24:50-53, AMP)

Jesus’ method of operation

Jesus blesses his disciples today too. That’s his method of operation. Isn’t it wonderful? That’s why we are bursting with eternal joy just like the disciples back then. When we understand that Jesus, the son of God, lives, loves, and blesses us, we worship, bless, and praise God from dawn till dusk.

So don’t forget that Jesus blesses you. Don’t forget that no matter what this is not all there is. Jesus reigns and he is coming back to bring all his disciples home. Let’s praise the Lord!

Gracious God,
Thank you for sending Jesus to save us.
Thank you for loving us and blessing us.
We praise you, love you, and worship you.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Q4U: How do you like Jesus’ method of operation?

Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim, as you worship, bless, and praise the Lord!
