Weekend Prayer Wall {Mar. 17-18}
“Each time, before you intercede, be quiet first, and worship God in His glory. Think of what He can do, and how He delights to hear the prayers of His redeemed people. Think of your place and privilege in Christ, and expect great things!” ~Andrew Murray
“Beware in your prayers, above everything else, of limiting God, not only by unbelief, but by fancying that you know what He can do. Expect unexpected things ‘above all that we ask or think.'” ~Andrew Murray
Love each other like the members of your family. Be the best at showing honor to each other. Don’t hesitate to be enthusiastic—be on fire in the Spirit as you serve the Lord! Be happy in your hope, stand your ground when you’re in trouble, and devote yourselves to prayer. (Romans 10: 10-12, CEB)
This is my prayer: that your love might become even more and more rich with knowledge and all kinds of insight. I pray this so that you will be able to decide what really matters and so you will be sincere and blameless on the day of Christ. I pray that you will then be filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from Jesus Christ, in order to give glory and praise to God. (Phil. 1: 9-11, CEB)

I believe, Lord, but let me believe more firmly.
I hope, Lord, but let me hope more surely.
I love, Lord, but let me love more ardently.
I repent, Lord, but let me repent more deeply.
I beg you, Lord, what do you want me to do?
Teach me to fulfill your will, for you are my God.
Give me an understanding heart…
To distinguish right from wrong.
Father, give me humility, meekness,
Chastity, patience and charity.
Father, teach me goodness, knowledge and discipline.
Father, give me your love, together with your grace,
and I will be rich enough.
~Anthony Mary Claret (1807-70)
Save us, O Lord, from the snares of a double mind.
Deliver us from all cowardly neutralities.
Make us to go in the paths of your commandments,
and to trust for our defense in your mighty arm alone;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
~R.H.Froude (1803-36)

Please pray for my son, Joshua, to turn his life around and turn back to the Lord.
Hi, Mom4ajob, welcome back! We’ve missed you these past couple of weeks but have still been praying for you and for Joshua, both here on the weekends and throughout the week.
Lord, we again bring Joshua to you in prayer and ask that you would lovingly draw him back to yourself: that he would no longer harden his heart or turn away from you to satisfy the desires of his flesh, but that his eyes and heart would be awakened to your unending love and forgiveness for him and for your desire to bring healing, peace, and joy to him. God, we ask that whatever is hindering him from turning back to you would be taken away, that you would put a hedge of thorns around him to prevent those negative outside influences from enticing him away from you. Lord, we ask for long-suffering patience for his mother, that she would be faithful in prayer, patient in affliction, and joyful in hope. Father, we thank you for your goodness and mercy to us at all times, even in the midst of suffering. Thank you for using all things, even difficult and heartbreaking circumstances, for our good: to shape us to become more like you and to drive us to our knees in dependent and expectant prayer. Lord, we commit Joshua and his mother to you, and we ask for healing and restoration in their lives and in their relationship with one another. In Jesus’ redeeming and hope-giving name, we pray. Amen.
I join in Sara’s prayer. Hear us, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen
Dear God,
I pray for Sara. Cover her with your healing grace. Encourage and empower her. Prepare her heart, soul, mind and body for the future you’ve prepared for her. Thank you that you have precious and amazing plans for Sara. Guide her clearly, lead the right people into hear life and bless her beyond her wildest dreams. In Jesus’ name, Amen
Yes, Lord, in Your mercy, please hear these prayers! Amen.
I need prayer for continued emotional healing. Great amount of difficulty in my life as a child and keep dealing with the repercussions as an adult. Would love to have a copy of the CEB bible.
Dear God, we pray for emotional healing for Linda. You know her and love her. Pour out healing grace on all her emotional wounds. Bring healing to her. Lavish her with your love. Thank you that nothing is impossible for you. In Jesus’ name, Amen
I’ll be attending a conference next week Monday-Thursday for InterVarsity’s Graduate and Faculty Ministries’ campus staff workers. InterVarsity USA is part of the IFES (International Fellowship of Evangelical Students), which can be found in 155+ countries around the world. I was invited as prospective staff, so please pray for the meetings themselves, my interactions with the staff, and for wisdom and discernment as to whether this is something God might be calling me to do sometime in the future. Thank you.
O Dear God,
I praise you for providing this opportunity for Sara. Thank you that you already have a perfect plan for this conference. May Thy will happen in everything. Guide all the participants to hear your voice as they seek your will. Give Sara peace to be herself and rest in your grace throughout the conference. Bring the right people into her life. Give all the parties involved wisdom to place the right people in the right places. Lord, I thank you that you are in the midst of this. Bless this organization and all the students they meet around the world. May your name be glorified all over the world! Give Sara special discernment during this time. Let her know in her heart if something is not what you want for her. And give her very clear guidance to joyfully proceed into the direction you open for her. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen
P.S. Sara, I will be praying during the week, too. Rest in his grace!
Thank you for the encouragement and for joining your prayers to mine, Mari-Anna; I really appreciate it! Wishing you God’s best as you continue to love and serve others in Jesus’ name!
Our Heavenly Father,
You are so powerful and mighty. Help us to see the awesomeness of you in our everyday lives. Come and change our lives according to your plans! May your will happen, nothing else! Empower us to do you will and live in your grace. Enable us to share your amazing love with others. Be praised forever and ever! We surrender our lives and especially this week to you. Strengthen us for your service. Inspire, encourage, uplift us as needed. Let us feel your loving presence every hour of our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen
Oh! I missed it! I thought about your prayer link up all week but then come the weekend, I forgot to link a prayer! I’m so sorry! Soooo, rather than totally miss out, I will add a prayer here:
“…one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13b-14)
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the journey you have brought me on. Each day you have shown me more and more of your grace and love. Your word reminds me to put the past away and to press on toward the goal…and that goal is you, Lord! I pray that every moment, as I place my faith in you, I surrender to your will and guidance. You have a plan for my life and that plan is good! I am trusting in you! In Jesus’ name, amen.
No worries, Joan. We’ll do this again next weekend! And big thanks for sharing your verse and prayer with us. Such a blessing! And I join you in your meaningful prayer. Hear our prayer, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen
