Weekend Prayer Wall {Oct. 29-30}

Weekend Prayer Wall {Oct. 29-30}

The only way to Heaven is prayer; a prayer of the heart, which every one is capable of, and not of reasonings which are the fruits of study, or exercise of the imagination, which, in filling the mind with wandering objects, rarely settle it; instead of warming the heart with love to God, they leave it cold & languishing. ~Jeanne Guyon

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Philippians 4:5-7. MSG)

Dear friends in Christ, let’s pray in Jesus’ name!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Gracious God,

We come to you weary and tarnished.
Forgive our sins,
wash us clean
with the precious blood of Christ.
Energize us with you amazing grace.
Lord, in your mercy.

Heal what needs to be healed,
renew what needs to be renewed,
empty what needs to be emptied,
fill what needs to be filled.
Lord, in your mercy.

May your will happen in all of our lives.
May your strong power wash over us.
Strengthen us for your service.
Continue your work in us.
Lord, in your mercy.

  4. Father, we lift up the saints who share our faith but not our freedom; our brothers and sisters of the Persecuted Church. We pray that they will remain strong in the faith and experience the peace that only Jesus can provide. We pray for the persecutors, that they will turn from darkness to Your Light and come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. We pray for the unreached peoples of the world, that they will recognize You Father in creation and will be led to learn of salvation through Your Son. We pray in the Name above all names, Jesus Christ. Amen.

    1. Father God, I stand in total agreement  with and in this prayer for our husbands and us their wives.

      Lord I add my thoughts to this prayer also, that our husbands become the men You created them to be. Lord, I pray that you will give us insight on how to help them in the mission and purposes you have for them. Lord, help us to be the wives they need and as You created us to. Lord, may we never tear them down but only to build them us with our words. Lord, may they lead our families as You lead them. Lord, may that teach our children and direct them to live in a manner that pleases You. Lord, I pray that You will help them to become the Spiritual leaders of our families as You have called them to be. And Lord, may we has wives support them and inspire them, and tend to our homes making them a warm and inviting place for our husbands to rest. In Christ Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  8. Gracious God, as we bring this weekend’s Prayer Wall to close I lift up to you all the people who have visited here this weekend. Thank you, Lord, for bringing them to pray together. I ask that You will bless each of them according to their needs. Be with them throughout the week in a special way. Thank you, Jesus! I also ask that next weekend we’d be even a bigger crowd to pray and form a chain of prayers. Work in our hearts, Lord, that we would embrace prayer as a huge and powerful gift to abide in You! May Thy will happen in all of our lives. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen. Be praised forever and ever!
