Once more I want to write about prayer. It’s utmost important that Christians do not live without it. With the words of E.M. Bounds “Prayer and a holy life are one. They mutually act and react. Neither can survive alone. The absence of the one is the absence of the other.” Prayer needs to be part of Christian’s life, plain and simple. Today I want to talk about persistent prayer. And, yes, I know, I’ve written even about that before….
What if instead of people asking ‘how are you doing?’, they asked ‘how is your prayer life?’ That would tell us much more of a person’s well-being, don’t you think? If our prayer life is robust, we are well in Christ. If our prayer life’s been hit by a dry spell, we are not doing that well.
