Stiched with God’s Grace
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” (Psalm 139:13, NIV)
God, indeed, sticthed us together in our mothers’ wombs but that is not the end of the story. God is calling us to be daily stiched with God’s grace.
The first step is to surrender to God’s will. Because, as Martin Luther states it: “God creates out of nothing. Therefore, until a man is nothing, God can make nothing out of him”. ~Martin Luther
“O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.”
(Jeremiah 64:8, NIV)
God knows what he wants to do with your life. It is up to you let God stitch you into your full potential. Why would you want anything less than God has prepared for you? D.L.Moody urges us, “Let God have your life; He can do more with it than you can”.
We are not to strech beyond the boundary lines that God has stiched specifically for us. Rick Warren’s tweet says the very same thing this way: “Do what God CALLS u to do with your life & you’ll succeed. Do what u think will prove your worth & you’ll fail miserably”. When we obey God’s commandments, surrender our will to him and let ourselves to be stiched with God’s grace we find happiness and purpose. There’s nothing better than being stiched with God’s grace.
Gracious God,
We surrender to you.
Do what you want with us!
Because you are our everything.
Thank you for sticthing us together in our mothers’ wombs.
Keep on stitching! May Your will be done in our lives!
Nothing less, nothing more, nothing else!
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
